Opening of Contractors' Bids for the Barclayville–Klowne–Sasstown Road Project

The Ministry of Public Works successfully conducted the official opening of contractors' bids on Friday, December 5, 2025, for the Barclayville–Sasstown Road Construction Project (Asphalt Pavement).   This marks a major step toward the procurement and commencement of works for the 50 km priority sections funded by the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) through the Government of India Line of Credit.

Purpose of the Exercise

The bid opening process ensures transparency, fairness, and adherence to national and donor procurement requirements. It is a key milestone in selecting a qualified contractor to undertake this strategic road investment in Grand Kru County.
