President Boakai Travels to Accra, Ghana on Today
President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., leaves for Accra, Ghana, today, Friday, June 28, 2024, to attend the commencement ceremony of the Regional Maritime University that is expected to take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
The President will deliver the commencement address of the occasion as Guest of Honor.
The Official Delegation accompanying the President include:
1. Honorable N. Oswald Tweh, Minister of Justice
2. Honorable Sirleaf Tyler, Minister of Transport
3. Honorable Morley Kamara, Economic Advisor to the President
4. Honorable Neto Z. Lighe, Commissioner General, Liberia Maritime Authority
5. Honorable Jerolinmek M. Piah, Minister of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism
The President will also travel along with his support staff, Chief of Protocol, and assistants on communications and media, security, and personal matters.
The delegation is expected to return to the country on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
While the President is out of the country, the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and Chief of Staff, Honorable Sylvester M. Grigsby, will act in consultation with the President via telephone communication.
