President Boakai Makes New Appointments in Government

Executive Mansion, Monrovia - President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has made appointments in government affecting the Ministry of Justice, the Liberia Broadcasting System and the Grand Gedeh University.

Counselor J. Augustine Toe has been appointed as Deputy Minister for Codification at the Ministry of Justice, Mrs. Kadiatu D. Konteh-Brohiri as Deputy Director General for Administration at the Liberia Broadcasting System, while Counselor Kanio Bai Gbala has been appointed to the Grand Gedeh University Board of Trustees, representing the Grand Gedeh Bar Association.

The appointments are in continuation of moves by the Liberian Leader to reinforce institutional functioning, engendering desired outcomes to spur national advancement.  The appointments are subject to Senate Confirmation where applicable.
