Grand Kru County Development Officer, Joe Sekpeh has highlighted unity as a pathway to success and development for Liberia, urging Liberians to unite for the common good of the county.

Superintendent Sekpeh said that unity and reconciliation have the propensity to attract potential investors to Liberia as well as Grand Kru development.

According to him, citizens should let go of the past and collaborate with the local administration, including the national government for the betterment of the county.

Speaking at the induction ceremony of local officials of Jloh Statutory District on September 14, 2024, the County Development Officer Joe Sekpeh unveiled several development plans for the county as intended by the Boakai and Koung-led administration.

He added that the development priority of Grand Kru is so huge, as he called for consolidated efforts for the forward match of the county's development agenda in all sectors of the community.

He revealed that Jloh Statutory District is seriously challenged in terms of development, especially roads that continue to impede the development of the district but assured the citizens that the local authorities through the national government will ensure Jloh is accessible under the watch of President Joseph N. Boakai.
