Deputy Minister for Technical Services
Hon. Nat Bayjay is the Deputy Minister for Technical Services at the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism (MICAT). He previously served as Assistant Minister for Technical Services. He was born in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County and is a member of the Bassa Tribe.
He earned an undergraduate degree in Public Administration with a minor in Mass Communications from the University of Liberia. He also has a Master of Science Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Turkish Nile University in Abuja, the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Hon. Bayjay comes to the post with a vast wealth of experiences in traditional/mainstream journalism, public relations and public diplomacy. Prior to his presidential appointments, he served two of Liberia’s vital diplomatic missions in Abuja, Nigeria and Accra, Ghana as the Minister Counselor for Press and Public Affairs. Before then, he served as a media and public relations consultant to the office of the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan.
Prior to that, he practiced his active journalism at the FrontpageAfrica News outlet in Monrovia, Liberia, rising through the rank and files as a reporter and later as the editor and newsroom bureau chief.
Hon. Bayjay is married with kids.
