Assistant Minister for Information Services

Matthew Nyanplu is a practitioner in global development, with a strong expertise in communication and public information management. He holds a master in international development from IE University in Madrid, Spain and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University, Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Massachusetts, United States. At Tufts, Matthew concentrated on development economics and human security given his immense interest in advancing development across the developing world and the pursuit of human rights globally. He is excited to serve in this role and contribute his expertise towards the advancement of the Government of Liberia’s public information agenda. Matthew is currently re-enrolled at the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law in Monrovia where he is pursuing the Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree, in furtherance of his global ambition to become a lawyer of international repute. He completed his BA in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Liberia in 2017.
