Government To Demolish Structures Built On The New National Cultural Center In Marshall “There is some kind of lawlessness that is always taking place in this country. The Government, through the Ministry of Information, bought 50 acres of land in Ben’s Town, Marshall City in 2008 for the construction of new national cultural center after the original center was demolished. This Ministry, under my leadership, is still committed to rebuilding our National Cultural Center. Almost half of that land has been encroached. We will use the laws to demolish those structures even if they cost US$ 10 million. You don’t build on a property that does not belong to you. We have written the Liberia Land Authority and the Ministry of Justice about it”, says Jerolinmek Matthew Piah, Minister of Information.
