LNP Signs MoU With Rwanda National Police To Foster Mutual Partnership

 The Inspector General of the Liberia National Police (LNP) Gregory O. W. Coleman on August 31st signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Police of Rwanda aimed at reinforcing mutual partnership and collaboration among the law enforcement entities of Liberia and Rwanda.

According to an LNP statement, the MOU which was signed in Kigali, Rwanda by the Liberia Inspector of Police Gregory Coleman and his Rwandan counterpart Felix Namuhoranye is intended to enhance collaboration in maintaining public order, national security, foster cooperation, knowledge exchange through various training opportunities and curricula development.

The LNP statement quoted Inspector General Gregory Coleman as expressing optimism about the partnership, stating that the MOU marks a pivotal step in reinforcing their commitment to ensuring public safety and security through shared expertise and resources.

He stressed that the LNP looks forward to a fruitful collaboration with the Rwanda National Police.

"The Liberia National Police remains dedicated to upholding the highest standards of law enforcement and public service, and this partnership is a testament to our ongoing efforts to enhance our capabilities and effectiveness," the statement quoted the Police IG as saying.
