LRRRC OIC Calls For Calm Among Employees

MONROVIA, Nov. 5 (LINA) β As Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (LRRRC) received its interim officials, the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the institution, Jackson J. Paye, has called on employees and contractors to remain calm and united, vowing that his team will work firmly to address all grievances and concerns at the institution.
Speaking at the induction meeting on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Commissionβs Headquarters in Congo Town, OIC Paye beseeched LRRRC workforce to maintain integrity by changing minds and attitude and learn to serve with sincerity and honesty to advance development at the workplace and Liberia as large.
Paye said he believes in transformation and openness, stressing that his goal and mission is to promote the ARREST Agenda of the Government of Liberia, and the mandate given to him by President Boakai.
Also speaking at the meeting, the Acting Deputy Executive Director for Operations, Mr. Joseph Boye Cooper stressed the need to rebrand the image of the entity, build up a system of transparency and accountability, adding that this can only be achieved if the people are together with one mind and unity.
Meanwhile, the Employee Welfare Chairman, Mr. Charles Green, on behalf of the employees welcomed the newly appointed interim officials and promised the employees' cooperation and stressed that issues regarding employeesβ welfare will be channeled through a more professional procedure.
The LRRRC welcomed Mr. Jackson J. Paye, Executive Director in Charge and Mr. Joseph Boye Cooper Deputy Executive Director for Operations. These two Liberians were appointed by President Joseph N. Boakai on Friday November 1, 2024.
These gaps were created following the suspension of Mr. Patrick T. Worzi, Executive Director, Mr. A.J. Armah Karneh, Deputy Executive Director for Administration, and Mr. Richard Hoff, Deputy Executive Director for Operations by President Boakai.
